A crazy idea ...
Has anyone used Nanopad as Midi foot controller?
Is it strong to withstand the pressure of the feet? ;o
Well, @ringleader made this beast from a NanoKontrol. !!
So amazing, but I have no idea how he did it.
And I guess your question is really about using the device as is, on the floor, mashing it with your shoes. Good question.
yes friend, would be perfect, but I also have no idea how it was done lol
Thanks! I didn't document the steps as I made that but in munibeast's thread on Audiobus forum where I originally got the idea there is more info including a link to a video that I used for the steps. But beware, soldering on the Nanokontrol is not easy.
@Ronaldo - I also have the Nanopad2 and it is definitely too small for feet, maybe if you were barefoot and used just your toe it could work lol. But if Korg would just make a slightly bigger version it would be great as I really like the Nanopad2.
Yes, he is very small for my feet, but I had already made one with a icase bluetooth keyboard for iphone and the idea worked ... what stopped suddenly was the bluetooth keyboard
Now I'm going to make a usb cable that is safer.
I see two options.
Use external extensions to the buttons, as I did for the drum machine boss dr-3. (see photo below).
Or use starters as was done in his mega project.
I bought a korg nanoPAD now used by little the internet to test lol. Let's see if it works.
I need more buttons...
It works! Check out my post on the topic:
