Dial or Slider target for FX value

edited October 2021 in Loopy Pro Beta

Is there a way to tell a Dial or Slider to change an FX value only for a certain Track, Group or Colors?

Comments

  • In other words, I would like the FX-A dial to control the Wet/Dry delay in FX SEND-A for the first group only.
A choice is missing in the dial change dialog.

  • You'll need a separate instance of the effect, in order to control a separate set of params. Am I missing something?

I have actually misnamed the controls and this is confusing.
"FX SEND A" is nothing more than an effects bus and FX-A is the dial that sends the audio of the single group to Bus A.
    Like normal mixer behavior.
In the editor I can only change the Volume, Balance, Pitch and Speed values for the Group (and therefore a send to the effects chain would be missing) while in the Dial, if I wanted to act on the wet/dry parameter of the effect, a Target would be missing at the source.
It sounds complex but it's my english that doesn't work.

  • New image with correct labels.

  • Hmm I'm still not really following, I'm afraid, but that may because my brain is tired 😆

But I think it might not matter anyway, because I plan to built in effect buses and send params, which I believe will do what you're after anyway.

This is exactly what I was trying to do. :)
    Thanks a lot
