Request: MIDI delay compensation

edited January 2012 in Support and Feedback
When dealing with MIDI hardware is frequent to have some delay.
At least with the iODock and the Urzwerg sequencer I get it.
A slider in the settings to adjust a compensation whould be great.

  • Hey @Juanjo - is that because you're noticing issues with sync, or just because you're used to seeing a slider? =) I do some latency compensation automatically, but if there's a problem, I'd like to hear about it.

My general principle is that if I can do something automatically, I'd greatly prefer that than whacking more user interface elements in so the user can hack it to work.

I'll try to make more precise measure of the delay and his circumstances.
Anyway, you can to know the delay that occurs out of the iPad (because of the external hardware)?
  • Hmm, it sounds like the delay is occurring in ways I hadn't anticipated - I'll have a think about it.
  • Most probably is not your fault, but the external hardware.
Let me test if it occurs every time or was an exception. I'm newbie to Loopy yet…
