issues with first loop and bluetooth midi

Hello Everyone,

I have an Ipad air 2 with loopy pro and was wondering if anyone recognise these issues.
When recording the first loop there is a millisecond delay in recording. Like I push the button a tiny little too late.
It is not me because my loops are ok on a hardware pedal.
What could it be? Is the ipad air 2 too old? Is there something in the setup I should look at?

Secondly. When I have a bluetooth midi controller I cannot use it for starting loops because it starts far too late.
Is that always the case with bluetooth or is it the same issue as above only more noticable.

Hope someone can enlighten me.
