Kick drum sound in new loops... how to switch off?
Every time I record a new loop, it adds a kick drum in it... how do I switch it off? I can't seem to find anything in settings...

++++ my deepest gratitude for creating this masterpiece! Your love and devotion to it Michael is so obvious. thank you!
Just to add this only seems to happen when I've not got any external audio interface or mic, only with the Ipad mic
Interesting. Could it be recording your initial tap, maybe? Recording starts on lift (rather than press), so try tapping, then lift off when you're ready.
I’ve found this as well. I think it’s recording the second tap - to stop the recording of a loop.
Only tried using the iPad mic.
And its happening more on the side of the ipad where the mic is located.
FYI, unless further info is forthcoming that would indicate otherwise, I consider this not a bug, but merely a usage issue.
@Michael what concerns me is that tapping to stop recording is being recorded, right? Shouldn’t the signal from tapping to stop the loop be immediate? Or is this be unreasonable - like can’t be faster than the speed of sound unreasonable?
it could be just heavy tapping. This is a bit of an artificial use case people will be using an interface?
Hmm. Perhaps you're right - I guess I could try to wind back the clock a bit when you stop recording, to eliminate the last 0.1 seconds or whatever of recorded audio...
Don’t know dude. I have no idea how touch screens are implemented - is there a threshold / sensitivity that could be tweaked? 🤔
