LOOPY HARDWARE MODULE

I've been using Loopy HD for a while now and every time I use it, I keep thinking this would be an epic looper if it was actually hardware. Have you ever considered making Loopy a hardware looper instead of using iOS devices? For live performances, it would make everything so much better not having to use an iPad or iPhone and having tactile knobs and buttons.

Sort of like how I hate software synths and prefer using hardware synths, this looper would be an amazing hardware looper. There's nothing out there like it! They don't even come close!

Thoughts?

  • If you know of someone making this, yeah go for it. There would be some market for it.

Personally, I don’t see any need. Loopy already has everything for hardware looping. You can plug in a professional USB audio interface, knob MIDI controllers, and MIDI foot controllers and design your own hardware unit to do exactly what you want. It’s already possible.
