Midi Sync from Loopy Hd to a Looper Pedal (Boomerang III Phrase). How to connect the devices
Hello,
here is my question. I'd love to Sync my Loopy Hd on my ipad with my Boomerang III phrase Looper pedal OF COURSE with a software with an "active" MIDI sync algorithm. Question it should appear stupid (sorry about it eventually) BUT, should I transmit loopy HD internal clock signal VIA a simple converter usb/MIDI like this? http://www.amazon.com/VicTsing-Cable-Converter-Keyboard-Adapter/dp/B00ACGMOA6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451946243&sr=8-1&keywords=midi+usb+cable
thanx a lot
Boris

@borisinger - in theory, Yes. The example you link to doesn't specify that it is Class compliant, but it may work.
Midi sync on iOS being what it is, if you have syncing issues/fluctuations, you may want to keep an eye on these 2 upcoming apps since Loopy has Link;

hello @Ganthofer, first of all thanx VERY much for your kind answer. I think I have to first buy the usb-midi converter and try practically to work with to see what's goin on. Hope I can ask you some suggestion more in case nothing works properly
thanx for the video link also....but both the apps are not yet available on app store, right?
best
@borisinger - Yes, you must first get the hardware interfaced and then you can see how well iOS Midi sync plays with the Boomerang midi sync. Hopefully they play nice.
If not. then there looks like possibilities in the near future with the 2 apps (not yet released) to help with sync.
