change the speed of a loop

is there a way to make loopy change the "speed" of a loop without pitch shifting or time stretching? i.e. just like a record player does when you pull the speed-slider down to half-speed (then it essentially plays the record an octave lower)... maybe this is built in and i'm just missing it?

seconding this request.. ( hi @offthesky )... is there no way to change pitch or slow down the loops?
