Hi,

can i start/stop record from an amp sim app...like...AmpKit?
can i start record/stop record and immediately play and select next track ready for record?

or instead of enabling next track... overdub the first?

can i do this manually from the controls via audiobus to the amp sim? or can i do it in Loopy?

if so, how?

All of the features your asking for are available by using midi commands via a midi controller. Most people prefer the benefits of hardware midi controllers like the Korg NanoKontrol series but you can do the same thing with software controllers such as Lemur or Touch OSC.

If you plan to have Loopy as the foreground app, however, all but some of the multiple phase actions can be performed using the Loopy interface.
