Distorted recordings

Loopy on 4s, I now get distortion when recording apps connected through audiobus - not a volume thing, loud or soft the same happens. Thumbjam, ifretless, sound prism, all do it. Pasting files in is fine. Any ideas? Loopy hd on iPad is fine. Cheers Richard
