  • Nice job. Thanks for sharing!

  • Great shit. One of my favourite tunes.

  • Wow, such a clean sound. More details on the "various mixers" please :-)

Specifically, what audio interface goes into your iPad?

  • Nicely done Adrian. What was your Ampkit setup?

  • Thanks everyone. Sorry I forgot to mention that the ipad is connected to a behringer iStudio, its great no problems at all. It's only a 2 input interface so I have a mini 8 channel mixer with everything except my bass guitar going into it and then into one input. Bass goes into 2nd input and routed through audiobus into Ampkit for bass and guitar effects before both channels going into Loopy. I'm happy with it so far. The BEST thing I ever figured out was using a microphone mute switch for both vocal and cajon mics. The mics are only on if I have my foot on the momentary switch which means no bleeding of sound into each Loopy track when not singing or recording from mics.

That's great! Can I ask you maybe a stupid question? Mixer channels are recorded in loopy HD as separate inputs or just as one main track?

  • Two inputs, 8 ch mixer into 1, bass guitar into 2. I record all instruments onto their own Loopy track so they can be turned on/off individually thru the song. Obviously with all instruments going into ch 1 they would be all recorded to each track if I played all instruments at the same time but they only get played one at a time.

Wow, this seems interesting. How do you record each instrument separately? I have everything plugged into a mixer, then into Loopy, and when I record everything is recorded on 1 loopy track. And can I ask you also how do you route only one channel (i.e. bass) through AudioBus with fx? I have just one external audio source in Loopy, so all the audio coming from the mixer is processed in the same way.

  • Hi hybrid_decline,

What audio interface are you using? One or two inputs?
If I was to play multiple instruments at the same time then they would get recorded to the same track in Loopy so I only play one at a time and record separate tracks in Loopy.
You can select within Audiobus which input goes where and into what other apps/FX before going into Loopy.

  • Thank You Adrian! I will give a try. I have a behringer mixer (xenyx q802usb) which has 8 inputs in theory, but the audio over USB in/out is a two channel mix. I gonna try if I can select input entrance on audiobus and let you know

  • I have a question. I use basically the same setup. I have a behringer istudio, loopyhd, ampkit and fcb1010. I hook the fcb1010 to the midi on my istudio. this controls both my ampkit and my loopy. Only problem is I cant figure out how to assign tap tempo or volume swell from ampkit to the 2 foot pedals on the fcb1010. Any thoughts?

  • Hi dabluezpreacher sorry for very late reply I domt often check in here. No sorry cant help with that I did start looking at foot pedal controls but gave up
