@obiwahnkentobi Thanks! Hehe, sweet! I'm having fun experimenting with nappy freeness too (Elimination Communication), we're having lots of success! Not gonna need to toilet train this little champ!
These are our experience with our son, (in german) ;-)
And absolute is the communication, to be still in contact, is...wonderfull and let you both grow...find the rythm, the signals, listen and feel.
My wife wrote it ✌️️
And we are very proud about it and how it works.....since my kids i know that even a born baby could understand you from the first second (and before ;-) )
Peace and health to your family michael
Very cool!! Shame there's not an English version, I'm very interested - a bit spongelike when it comes to EC, trying to figure it all out. Wow, seriously off-topic now =D
Sorry to derail the thread from the very important business of parenting
...but things are very exciting in the iOS music world at the moment with Korg Gadget 3.0 just released and Audiobus 3 to follow very soon....
Gadget it a good example of an "All in 1" app solution - whereas Audiobus 3 is the heart of a modular system - which in my opinion to work best really could do with a centralised "sequencer / arrange" page (where all the Audio loops and MIDI information can be recorded, edited and arranged ) and then audiobus is used to feed MIDI to various synth apps and the audio back and forth as needed.
So for me - Loopy 3 (Masterpiece) needs to be able to record MIDI loops as well as audio so that it can fulfil that role.. otherwise swapping from verse to chorus sections are a nightmare as different apps behave differently when they swap between sections and they go out of sync... I've tried a couple of ways of doing it and it's not entirely satisfactory.
While we wait and pray I was wondering if you guys that have a more comrehensive idea about new loopy's features could describe your imagined workflow/production sequence in as much detail as you please? Another idea I had is that when time comes we can all vlog our workflow and talk about it, send it to Michael for editing a commertial. Cheers
Hi Michael, I'm using the app and like it a lot - only thing which I believe would be a nice improvement for live performance is click output management. I need hear the click to get new tracks right when performing, but would prefer the audience not to - so what about having an option to push click output to headphone socket, instead of whatever USB audio board is used for the PA? Apologies in advance if that feature has already been discussed.
Still a fair bit more to do, but it's getting to be quite fun to play with! (and the same goes for Loopy 3! ;-)))
Voila, a small screencast:
Only shows a little bit of the functionality (groups, scenes, loop library, time/pitch), and no effects UI in here yet, but it's getting there. Also, I'm toying with "Loopy Pro" for the name, lately. Still a bit up in the air!

I've already said this but WOW !!! There is so much going on in that video, it is deceptively "simple" looking because it is so well-designed.
I love the synchronized scene switching. I love the color group options. Master volume with the meter is beautiful.
OMG !!!
Loving the interface - slick.
Did I really spot 'pitch' and 'speed' ? ? per track ??
+1 for 'Loopy Pro' - it's a serious piece of kit now and it's 'Pro' badge is overdue!
Uber excited....

Whoa! You mean you wrote a book on it, or is that the book you learned from?

So please consider this.. is it possible Michael?
Absolutely, @ricksteruk! MIDI looping is most definitely gonna be in here.
Has your thinking about Loopy 3 changed at all based on work on AB3?
So Gadget 3 is here, AB3 days away, where are we with Loopy 3? Likely the most anticipated app this year, at least from where I stand.
Kind of you to say, @Supadom =D It's coming, and definitely this year! Not quite there yet, though.
@lukesleepwalker: Not appreciably, no
How 'bout a screenshot?
;-)
Hoping that Apple releases new iPad Pro around the same time of this release
WOW!

Sweets!
Looks enticing and beautiful. Looking forward to a closer view!
YAY!!!!!!!!!

Cheers for the feedback @OldFaithful! I totally agree - I hear this a lot, too. It's gonna be in there!
@Michael how's progress on Loopy 3/ME? And how is fatherhood treating you?

No rush but... I CAN'T WAIT!

What video???!!!
The picture is a link to a video if you tap on it.
It looks like it is hosted on a private site.
@Michael can we share this video?
Thanks @Hmtx
Sure!
Loopy Pro is a great name! I think it describes the product in development better than the previous iterations.
Thanks for the video. The app is looking both useful and beautiful! Really looking forward to playing with it when it arrives.
