Full orange recording

I m a new and happy user of your wonderful app.
I guess i have done something wrong since now, when recording, there is no more white signal showing level input, just the orange ring ...
Any hints ?

    Can you give me some more details? How did this come about? Was it working before? Are you using any hardware? Have you tried rebooting? What's your favourite ice-cream flavour?

    I did nothing special, but i have not tried the reboot.... And it solved my issue :)
    Btw, could we get explanations of the different settings ?
    ( and thx for the blazing fast answer)

    Ah, good - Dunno why it happened, but these things do happen from time to time.

    What settings are we talking about? Have you looked in Help?

    Well, I'm no sure what the following is about :
    - live playthrough
    - record live audio
    - noise gate/expander (an the sub items)
