I guess anything that allows you to expand the number of Import loops would be a nice addition. So drum machine or groove machines would fit that bill - try DM1 or Groove Maker. Some guitar riffs for bassists or bass lines for drummers could be added as well using dedicated apps such as Amplitube, or simply Garageband. Then some post-processing software would also help improving the mix's sound (Amplitube has a dedicated extension pack), or you could recover your individual loops and assemble them there instead of in Loopy. Maybe future versions will include processing tools who knows. Hope that helps.
